  • PITTCON: Short Course: A Manager's Guide to Managing Laboratory Automation and Computing, Feb. 27th, 2010 - this 1 day short course will introduce the Integrated Laboratory Automation program, and provides an introduction to, and discussion of, managements role in planning for lab automation, and the effective use of automation and computing technologies. Given the importance of automation and computing in lab operations, and the economic considerations in managing a lab today, this course will be of value in the future direction of your labs development. This course differs from the 2 1/2 day program offered by the ILA titled "Manager's Guide to Lab Automation & Technology Management" in both scope and depth. The longer course is intended for those looking to develop informatics and automation programs, and make technology / product decisions.
  • Boston ALMA group meeting, Sept. 16th 2009. "Introduction to Lab Automation" an overview of the current state of lab automation and how we've come to this point.
  • ALMA Workshop - PITTCON, Tues. March 10th 2009. "Management's Role in Laboratory Automation" - Laboratory automation and computing are important tools in laboratory work.
