  • we'll create a "discussion" link next to the item so others will know it is there and follow it.
  • note: eventually, given funding (see below, left) we will replace LINKEDIN with a more robust systems.

Amphora Research Systems

Description: opensourceeln.org is the home of the Open Source Electronic Lab Notebook (OS-ELN) project, a community initiative initiated by Amphora Research Systems to develop a web-based, Open Source ELN.The Open Source ELN will be of particular interest to Universities and Colleges needing a simple, low-cost ELN to be used by their students in classes. Based on Open Source software, the system is easily and cost effectively deployed, and can be expanded and modified as needed.

Open inventory

 

Description: Web-based Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) with integrated Chemical Inventory by the group of Prof. Goossen (TU Kaiserslautern, Germany), based on PHP/MySQL. The inventory is easy to maintain as it reads properties of substances from online catalogs. The ELN searches starting material for reactions in the inventory and does all necessary calculations. Spectra can be transferred from FTP servers, mounted resources on the server or as local files. Automatic preview for many file formats. Automatic literature transfer via DOI (access may require license). Search for text, (sub-)structure, reaction parameters, spectra availablitiy, yield, etc. in your groups data. License: AGPL
