The VolumeCheck allows non-contact inspection for sample volume in well plates and test tubes. The VolumeCheck works with a variety of labware, including 96 well plates, 96 tube racks, and high-volume test tube racks. The labware must be uncapped or unsealed.

Using acoustic sensor technology the VolumeCheck determines the sample volume in a well or tube. Sample volume is derived from the acoustic sample measurement and a calibration plot generated with previously collected volume measurements.
The VolumeCheck's system resolution is in the +/- 10ul range.
The VolumeCheck's software allows quick scanning of a well plate or tube rack and graphically displays sample volume of each well on the plate. Volume data is associated to well plate ID and well position, and saved to an output file. The software includes a calibration plot utility to collect sensor and volume data for a variety of labware.
